Richard Holgate Photography are based in Sherburn in Elmet near York, operating throughout Yorkshire and providing wedding photography services at some prestigious venues such as Rudding Park Hotel & Spa, Sandburn Hall & St Williams College.  Having over 5 years experience and photographing over 100 weddings, we are very familiar with the stresses that organising a wedding can bring.  With this in mind, we aim to ensure that your photography is in safe hands.

On the big day itself, our approach to capturing your memories is a calm and relaxed one.  Although we will happily work to any given brief, our usual style is to capture a mixture of reportage shots as well as the more traditional family groups.

While the formal pictures of you the bride & groom, the bridesmaids, best man and parents are great to look at, we feel that these pictures are simply a record of who was present on your day and how they looked.  Reportage and candid shots however, capture the love and laughter, the joy and emotion.  Our images will tell the story of your day and ensure you won't have to rely upon memory alone.

Your final selection of photographs can be presented either in beautiful professionally handmade leather albums or impressive magazine style digital books.  Either way, the essence of your day... the love, the atmosphere and the memories that bring pictures to life will be presented in a way that you can treasure for years to come.
